The DC version of our Citra single hop continues to evolve our approach to the grain bill built to support this hop. Clean and bright malt bill tailored to stand up to and make our hand selected Citra hops pop at the same time.

Pours a bright cloudy haze of yellow with a thick foamy head. Smells like a juicy, fresh cut orange as the name implies. Taste follows the nose with earthy and piney notes. Strongly hopped but not overly so, crisp and dry as a bone. Feels like it almost wasn't there except for a pleasant, orange aftertaste.

Can dated 6/1/21 into pint glass. Pours a very hazy light gold with a nice off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is grapefruit, orange, mango, and a hint of sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium and fairly smooth. Finish is more citrus, fading to a slight bitterness. Not a standout in the NEIPA crowd, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Pours a pale golden straw. You can tell someething is off in the aroma. There's menthol and muddled rotting fruit. If you can get beyond that like I had to convince my girlfriend to do just to try this monstrosity of a beer - you are in for some horror Sure it tastes like an IPA - but only if that IPA had cigarette ash flicked into it. It's dry, dank, and full of terrible burnt cigarette character. Citra is a beautiful hop and this is taking all of the worst things about it, then combining it with the worst things in beer. This is truly one of the worst IPAs I've ever had within the context of saying "they tried." Terrible. Don't.
