This lot is from one of our hop suppliers, Haas, and isn't actually one lot, it's two that we had blended from one Oregon farm and one Washington farm. Expect typical Mosaic with a strong candied berry note instead of the typical blueberry.

Picked this and the Yakima iteration up at Other Half during Mosaic week, right before I took off for the end of the summer. All of the other beers I had from that event so far were solid and so was this, although it was a little more relaxed than I anticipated. Plenty dank, full of Mosaic, and oh-so-easy to drink, this was more along the lines of OH's typical fare although that's not such a bad thing at the end of the day!
The pour to this was relatively typical as it was a muted goldenrod with a uniform hue and plenty of foam topping it off as it took a while to settle down. A thin ring of lacing remained at the top of my pint glass with most of the rest of it coated the bottom of half of it pretty thickly as the rings were barely discernible. Lots of gooseberry and blueberry in the nose with plenty of Mosaic underneath that as the taste was quite juicy with a good amount of fruit patch and subtle dank hops rounding out the taste. Smooth and feeling somewhat rustic, this was just a bit too one-dimensional for me but what was here was plenty enjoyable and down the hatch as nearly as fast as it took me to pour this out of the can.
Nearly impossible to detect the booze here as this was a dream on the palate when it came to the heft. Dated 8/3 with "HAAS" written underneath it, this was perfect for these last mild days of the year as I almost wanted to take this outside where it belonged. Shame I couldn't get my hand on my offerings that were released during this week but this beer was a nice grab, along with the familiar clouds on the label!
