A NYS pilsner brewed in collaboration with our friends Steuben Brewing out of Hammondsport, NY. Starting with a base of local malt from both Murmuration Malts and New York craft malt, this light lager was fermented cold with German lager yeast and finished off with a late addition of whole cone NY Chinook and NY Perle hops. Grassy and light with a subtle malt sweetness.

This one pours a clear orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like piney hops, cedar, spruce, sweet grainy malt, and lemon.
This has a distinct spicy and "woodsy" hop character I'm digging. Perhaps that's the Chinook leading the charge. There's some grainy malt sweetness. I'd prefer it to finish overall a bit crisper, but the hop bite is certainly nice on this.
This is light bodied, very drinkable, and with a solid body for the style.
I've had better lagers from Steuben only, but this was still a treat to try.
