Our classic Snowbirds adjuncts are back to compliment Snowbirds 3 which was aged 3 years in bourbon barrels with Marcona almonds, cacao nibs, coconut, toasted coconut, coffee and cinnamon. Collaboration with @jwakefieldbeer.

On tap at Other Half Finger Lakes in Bloomfield, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with no real or lacing.
This smells like spicy and boozy barrel, toasted coconut, and milk chocolate.
The adjuncts don't come through as strongly as some of the other variants of this beer - there's definite coconut and milk chocolate, but the three years in barrels have left a lingering heat, spicy oak, and lots of leathery caramel on top of the beer here.
This is thick, semi-syrupy, and with very little carbonation, with a hint of booze, but nothing overwhelming in the end.
One of my biggest problems with most of the Other Half barrel aged stout is that the barrel is often completely subsumed by the the heavy duty adjunct work. Luckily, that's the not the case here, as the mega-extended time in barrels has helped this become a more balanced and barrel heavy beer.
