On tap at Other Half Finger Lakes in Bloomfield, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and no lacing.
This smells like sweet maple, banana cream, brown sugar, milk chocolate, and vanilla.
There's a little bit of barrel here, but the pile of adjuncts definitely overpowers here, even with the two years in barrels. The maple and banana seem to dominate the most, with not much almond. There's vanilla, marshmalow, and milk chocolate as well.
This is very thick, and a bit syrupy, with no real booziness to it.
I definitely like this better than the non barrel aged counterpart, as it's less sweet, less muddled, and more focused overall, but I do wish there was more barrel, still.
