On tap at Other Half Finger Lakes in Bloomfield, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a no real head or lacing.
This smells like milk chocolate, caramel, roasted banana, vanilla, and bourbon.
This came out surprisingly well, with a big but manageable sweetness, and a nice caramelized and roasty banana flavor that melds well with the caramel and oak from the barrel. There's not a ton of barrel here, but there's enough to keep me happy overall.
This is very thick, creamy, and smooth, with very little booziness.
This could have been a pastry nightmare, but it actually ended up being as balanced as these sorts of things are gonna get. I'm not gonna lie, it's very sweet, but it didn't cross the line.
