Collaboration with Vitamin Sea Brewing, Fidens Brewing Co, Equilibrium Brewery
Brewed with our friends at Fidens, Equilibrium, and Vitamin Sea. For our 8th Anniversary, we brought together some of our favorite NE IPA brewers to cook up a big triple IPA crammed with Citra, Citra Cryo, Citra Incognito, and some accent Idaho 7 and Cascade. The Idaho 7 is hotside only and brings forth a candied pineapple character while the Citra and Cascade are in the dry hop bringing a big orange citrus and lychee character.

Poured from a can (21Jan2021) into a OH 8th anny glass
L: pours a completely opaque, slightly muted orange yellow with a moderate bright white head. Fades after a couple minutes, leaving some slight lacing as it does. Great tight spots of lacing left with each sip
S: bright, slightly sweet fruit juice. Some freshly cut mango, peach, pineapple, orange. Juicy, not overly sweet. Great nose, a pinch boozy but it works nicely. Nice tropical fruit cocktail as I think about it more, little sugary juice situation. More of a grassy note comes through as it warms
T: nice sip, a little on the lighter side. Great fruit to open, with a slight bitterness/grassy note toward the back. Pineapple and orange lead, definitely get that slightly sweet tropical fruit cup vibe from the nose. Abv works well, there’s a pitch of alcohol toward the finish but not out of place.
F: medium+ body, medium carbonation. Nice and smooth, full with a slight creaminess to the finish
O: a solid TIPA that sits comfortably in OH’s wheelhouse. Not much to knock, but also wouldn’t call it anything groundbreaking. Regardless, delicious
