Poured from a can (no date I could find, released OH anniversary weekend 04Feb2022) into the OH 8th anny glass
L: pours a nice lighter yellow orange; big and very dense white head that leaves large chunky lacing as it fades
S: freshly cut tropical fruit, that drippy and overripe thing. TIPA sweet. A bit boozy, more so than the 4th/8th anny brews I’ve had this anniversary season and in-line with memory. Pineapple, citrus, slight mango. The nose is good but muddled, which is also my memory of this one
T: much more of that overripe, sticky fruit character. Pineapple, melon - bit of citrusy bite toward the back, some pithy grapefruit. A little on the sweeter side but not cloying - find the flavor has more depth than the nose, same notes but more complex/defined
F: medium+ body, medium carbonation. Smooth, fairly creamy, bit drying from that grapefruit note
O: solid TIPA that’s just not my favorite. A bit on the sweet side - nose is solid but a bit meh, flavor has more depth which I appreciate
