Can from the NZ Hop Week box. Pours a murky slightly orange gold with a finger of rocky white head that’s slowly dissipates, nice lacing, smell is spicy dank lemon/lime zest, herbal grapefruit skin, lemon/lime flesh, yellow pound cake, hints of green onion and mashed potatoes, taste is dank candied lemon/lime slices, grapefruit flesh, hints of cantaloupe and tropical fruit cake, fairly bitter citrusy pith on the finish, feel is medium bodied, creamy carbonation, dry. Lemon-lime-grapefruit cake juice.

Cloudy pale yellow with a finger-and-a-half of creamy-looking yellowed head. It settles into a lasting wisp and leaves solid lacing.

Toasted herbal aroma with a light pepperiness. I get flashes of vanilla but not much discernible fruit.

Very distinctive pear flavor, with vanilla, bubble gum, melon, toast and just some slight herbs and pepper.

Relatively full feeling with strong zippiness in the carbonation.

Not my favorite New Zealand hop by a long shot, but fun to try.
