Collaboration with Schilling Beer Co.
Brewed with our friends at Schilling. We've been loving the Schilling lagers for a while so asked them to brew an 8th Anniversary Pils us. We used traditional German ingredients like Hersbrucker, Hallertau Mittlefruh, and Bohemian Pilsner malt and did a single decoction to increase the complexity.

A: The beer is a bit hazy in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and lots of specks of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of floral and spicy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has underlying hints of bready malts and a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a nice and smooth mouthfeel, which is unique compared to other pilsners.

On tap. White head with some lace. Clear straw yellow.
A bit heavier of a pils, but still smooth and very flavorful. Grassy, bitter, earthy. Biscuit and toasted crackers. Solid offering from OH. Not sure if I’ve ever had a pils from them.
