It begins with another unimpressive pour to empty the entire contents of a modern hazy IPA pint can into a clear glass liter mug. Way too much stark white foam was produced and it receded unevenly and unattractively. The color of the dull and cloudy brew is lemon-amber. Overall, not much to look at. Just the typical, the nose gets only some shallowly sweet starches and a decent dose of sharp hops with citrusy notes. It drinks much like it smells. There's some shallowly sweet starch backbone accompanying a moderate citrusy hop bite. There's almost no taste transitions to save this from being mediocre, at best. At least, its sweetness isn't overly so and the finish is relatively clean and sufficiently bitter. Unfortunately, there are now so many of this style out there, this can't possibly stand out. Like the super-sized head, the glass lacing is too irregular to add a positive to its look. Its mouthfeel is fine, slightly sticky, but close to a nice balance of oats in the wort; but, again, not outstanding. Should this have been brewed twenty, maybe even ten years ago, it may have stood out. Now, it's just one more in a style that may be over played.

16oz can dated 6/3/22.
Pours cloudy gold with an inch of white fluff. Moderate retention and lacing. Grassy and piney in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Spruce juice and grapefruit on the palate with minimal malt or bitterness. Finishes fairly dry, crisp, and resinous.
