A lot of us at Other Half have spent time working in kitchens, and any chef worth their salt knows that when you have good ingredients, you highlight them and try not to get in the way by doing too much. With that in mind, we got together with our friends at Forest & Main and came up with this beauty. Made with the finest floor-malted Maris Otter, local oats from Deer Creek Malt, and generously hopped with our hand-selected Strata, we think this gem illustrates just how good super-premium ingredients can be when you let them do the talking.

I love the deep orange color of this beer. Aromas are kind of subtle although there is a general suggestion of orange juice and those notes are present on the palate. However this is far from a juice bomb, flavors are balanced and somewhat mild, not a lot of sweetness, and if I’m honest it’s pleasant but without much distinction. Nice medium full bodied feel with smooth carbonation.
