Munich, Vienna, and Wheat, decocted and hopped with Hallertau Mittelfruh. Deep and malty with notes of toasted bread crusts and a subtle nuttiness.

This one pours a light golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like toasted malt, crackery malt, and some light floral hop character.
This is a decent generic dark-ish lager, but it doesn’t exactly feel like a dunkel to me. It just doesn’t have that caramel, chocolate, etc, deeper malt backbone that is so crucial to the dunkel. It feels maybe more like a festbier or an altbier, just too light in the malt department, and too much bitterness, perhaps. It still tastes good, but if you’re going by style, it falls a bit short to me.
This is light bodied, crisp, clean, and very drinkable.
This fails as a dunkel, but is a good enough lager in general.
