Collaboration with Binny’s Beverage Depot, who supplied Eagle Rare and Blanton’s barrels that out stout rested in for nearly 2 years.
Expect a rich melding of coconut and banana on the nose, followed by bourbon-soaked vanilla beans. A wave of sweet chocolate enrobes the palate, giving way to a rush of coconut. The lasting finish delivers the richness of crème de cocoa and caramel, along with a burst of chocolate cherry cordial.

500 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 1/27/23.
Pours black and opaque with no head and no lacing. Aromas of bourbon, coconut, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, oak, light leather. Smells a little spicy. Flavors are similar: bourbon, coconut, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, oak, light banana as it warms. Has a little bit of a spicy taste. Smooth, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated.
This is really good, certainly better than expected. The coconut and barrels star, and while I would have liked more banana presence, it does show. A solid effort.
