We've finally reached one glorious year in our glorious Philadelphia location. Our Philly brew crew polled the staff on their top hops for the year and we used them in this beer. Our team put Galaxy, Riwaka and Anchovy forward as three of their top five favorites this year and we thought it would make a great combo. Passion fruit, peach, white grapefruit and candied watermelon.

Picked this up last year at Domino Park as it took a while for me to get around to. Love the old-school Phillies uniform look to the label as this had a classic feel to it. Quite full in body and taste, there was a lot going on here although this never felt too heavy or strong, as this wasn't quite the typical Triple IPA.
Nice pour to this as the liquid was nectarine in hue, cloudy in appearance, and topped off with plenty of thick, long-lasting head. Tons of white peach, exotic fruit, oats, and wheat in the nose as the taste was much more full of skunk, weed, white grapefruit, and stone fruit. Plenty heavy and sticky, the carbonation wasn't enough offset this beer's heft as the lovely rings of lacing left along the top half of my pint glass reminded me that this was still fun brew that need not be taken too seriously.
Maybe some Philly Soul from the 70's had to be played in the background to appreciate this fully, as that music was quite intricate but high-flying in the end. This was just like that as the alcohol wasn't easily discernible and the various hops melded nicely together. Nothing was written on the bottom of the can although it held up well over the last year and change. Huge phanatic of this beer as I hope it gets another go-around in the Big Apple!

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention with some lacing. Aroma of citrus hops undertones with some juicy hops notes. Taste is also a mix of citrusy hops notes with some floral hops undertones and some spicy hops notes also perceptible. Body is full with good carbonation with light warming notes. Interesting use of spicy hops notes in a triple NEIPA.
