Another 500ML bottle as we wind down the new Wham! documentary on Netflix. Best hair of all time. No? Fight me.
Black. Very soon, dead flat. What comes out of the aroma is nuts, bourbon, sweet malt. A couple of the ingredients are hiding in the taste. I hope.
Pastrytown – Barrel Aged Rocky Road is as full of sediment as a April crick in flood. After two sips there’s splooge all over the lip of the glass. Bourbon is lovely but understated, wearing a one-piece rather than cleavaging all over the beer. Marshmallows are the ingredient most prominent, with a gentle background of nuts &, perhaps, a distant fire of chocolate ice cream (or perhaps that’s a cloud). Certainly thick, certainly half the small bottle is sufficient.
Interesting. Good.
