Served in a tulip from the glass.
Appearance: comes off a very deep mahogany color with a subtle orange to Brown tinted head which initially Rose approximately half a finger's length off the body.
Smell: the beer has a 12-year-old mom which resembles warm brown sugar mixed with butterscotch candy. Potent but swift.
Taste: comes off very complex, with hints of toffee, caramel, vanilla, light notes of American coffee, and more hands of milk sugar which offsets the light maltiness of the Brew.
Mouth: the beer comes off ridiculously sticky, with a soft carbonation and a body which consists of soft carbonation and ridiculously full aftertaste which hugs your cheeks.
Overall: honestly did not want to drink this one tonight but everything happens for a reason and what an incredible beer. It's an English barley wine with a lot of characteristics. Hard not to share but easily you can be selfish with this one. Salud!

On tap at Other Half FLX in Bloomfield, NY.
This one pours a murky dark brown color, with a small head, and no real lacing.
There’s 8 adjuncts in this. I mostly get caramel and coffee on the nose.
This is extremely silly. It’s a bit too syrupy sweet, but it does feel like there’s a halfway decent barleywine base that has been just absolutely pummeled by potato chips and three different kinds of cereal and caramel and coffee and just all sorts of other things. Why add caramel to a barleywine base, which is going to already taste like caramel? The coffee notes are alright, but there’s just too much artificial sweetness from everything.
This is also kind of boozy, which is surprising given how much random stuff was dumped into this. It’s very syrupy and definitely a slower sipper due to that.
This is fairly messy, and a waste of a lot of different ingredients.
