This mixed culture table beer was brewed using water infused with a large quantity of locally harvested staghorn sumac, as well as NY state pilsner and wheat malt. It was fermented in french oak with our Bloomfield house culture, before being further conditioned on more freshly picked sumac cones. This offering is light and delicate with bright acidity and presents subtle lemon and citrus aromatics.

In draught at brewery tap room in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
L: Pale yellow with a light haze and negligible head.
S: Apple cyder vinegar. Light and delicate.
T: Floral and lemony.
F: A little more assertive than suggested by the nose. Sharp and tangy, becoming extra dry at the back of the tongue.
O: A clean and delicate farmhouse- style, wild ale. Nicely refreshing on a hot Spring afternoon.
