The V series by Cloudwater was an exploration of what hops could be during a time when people in the UK were just learning about New England IPA. It ran to V13 which was a blockbuster of a release and a good stopping point. We have always been fans of the series so we convinced our friends at Cloudwater to revist it with V14 and some new products and hops not available when the series first existed. This version has Nectaron Cryo, a hop variety and product that wasn't available, and Motueka Cryo which wasn't available as a hop product at the time. Let's keep exploration alive!

A - Opaque dark orange gold color with thin lacing and no carbonation, it resembles fruit juice.
S - Dank and spicy peppery citrus, pineapple, herbal, basil that comes across as slightly garlic-like.
T - Dank and peppery spicy from start to finish and comes off as garlic and onion. However, the flavor is intense peppery spicy / fruit rind pineapple, peach, tropical fruit, citrus, herbal and basil. Ends on the sweeter side but with a massive amount of herbally spice that lingers on the palate.
M - Big pillowy soft and chewy body while ending on the dry side and l;eaves a cotton-like coating on the sides of the mouth.
O - This beer is absolutely fantastic and ticks all the sensory boxes for this beer noob.
