We took our Space Diamonds base across the Tasman Sea from Austrailia to New Zealand and swapped Galaxy for our hand selected Nectaron from our friends at MacHops in Motueka, New Zealand. Lots of peachy, pineapple-y goodness with some tropical fruit candies and just enough dankness to remind you that you are drinking an IPA.

I got a tall boy can of this beer off the single shelf from the Perfect Pour in Dublin, Ohio. It poured a smoothie hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with dank tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

(17 days old) Standard haze, but a bit lighter-hued than usual. Fresh juicy aroma, slightly sweet with hints of orange. Vivid candied passionfruit on the palate with some peach notes and a dank undercurrent of diesely thiols.

Very decent, tasty and very drinkable (with points for that) though not spectacularly so. Can from OH Rochester. Worth trying. More like a 1.5 IPA than a double.

16 oz can
Pours a hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Pretty good head retention. Leaves a halo of lacing along the glass as it dissipates.
Aroma has lots of pineapple and orange juice. Slightly dank.
Flavor has notes of pineapple, overripe mango, and stone fruit. Earthy and dank.
Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy and soft. Very smooth and easy to drink.
Overall this is a very good NEIPA. Nicely balanced with lots of flavor.

This is an interesting one. It’s creamy, almost milkshake or oat ipa style. Dank and piney scents with a hint of tropical fruit and peach. Taste is complex, as it’s a bit fruitier - peach and orange - but still piney, slightly dank, weedy. Mouth watering finish, creamy, medium bodied, pillowy soft, sneaky boozy presence. A most pleasant beer.

Canned on 12/11/2024 so just over two weeks old. Poured into an OH snulip glass. It an opaque, bright orange with a snow white cap of fluffy foam and thick, clinging lacing. The smell includes sweet tangerine, pineapple, and lemon, with some additional sweet tropical notes. The taste largely follows. It is sweet with pineapple and orange/tangerine, along with some tart lemon and grapefruit. In addition, there are notes of vanilla cream, melon, and other sweet fruits. The mouth feel is very thick and creamy with proper carbonation, and it drinks like the 8.5% ABV on the can. Overall, this is another superb DIPA from Other Half.

Pours a cloudy pale straw with two fingers of rocky head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Aroma of tangerine and pineapple. Taste follows nose. Very juicy and slightly sweet. Really nice.

Pours cloudy yellow gold color with a foamy 2 finger thick head that faded slowly and left minimal lacing. Smells like tangerine, orange juice, pineapple, grapefruit, yuzu, biscuit, herbs, stinky skunk weed and hand soap. Tastes of grapefruit, white grapes, lemon, orange juice, honeydew melon, peach, wet grass, faint caramel, tea leaves, biscuit, sour fruity candy and sweet malt. It’s very creamy feeling and slick with very little carbonation, but it borders on tasting too sweet. Overall another good brew by OH.
