A crisp westie dreamed up with our pals at Bissell Brothers with a nod to our buds at High Roller slanging lobster. We created a IPA with a beautiful mix of Simcoe, Strata, Chinook and Enigma giving notes of pine, pineapple, lemon lime and dank strawberry.

On tap at Other Half FLX in Bloomfield, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells very piney, resinous, and like melon and grapefruit rind, with some strawberry as well.
You don’t see this sort of West Coast clear IPA from Other Half very often. I’m glad it wasn’t just tossed off, like some collaborations – this is legimately quite good. It’s not too malty, with a clean, resinous, and vociferous bitterness, and a nice strawberry, grapefruit, and melon fruity hop character.
This is light bodied, resinous, with a lingering bitterness on the finish that’s honestly pretty refreshing.
This really did hit the spot – I wish Other Half did more like this.
