It's sweater season finally. Thankfully it's always stout season so you can combine the two. This bourbon barrel-aged stout is from a mix of 20 and 21 month aged barrels and then conditioned on toasted walnuts and maple syrup for an extra cozy feel.

L- Black, thick, oily and viscous. No head or lacing
S-Dark chocolate, walnuts, maple syrup, char and bourbon. Brown sugar and caramel, anise. Smells delicious.
T-Delicious. Dark chocolate, booze and barrel lead the way. Walnuts and maple syrup swoop in mid way. Boozy heat appears in the finish. Caramel, molasses, anise make an appearance. Taste mirrors the nose.
F-Thick and oily. Perfect feel for the style. Slick with no carbonation. Slight burn in the throat and chest in the finish.
O-Great beer. OH is making my favorite BBAs.
