Poor a close gold. Thick foam. Hoppy aroma. Sweet tropical fruit body. Pineapple and mango. Light bitter hop finish. A little on the light side. Good flavor. Very solid.

always good to rip into some other half cans, especially with my brother, i always wish we had more time to pursue this sort of thing, but i will take what i can get. this is a neat one, yet another hazy from one of the kings, done with something they call a high density hop charge, would love to know more about that. would also love to know what hops are in this, i suspect less exotic varietals, but its bold enough to be awesome and even unique anyway, sort of a candied concentrated pure vibe to the hops, pretty fresh overall too although maybe not quite peak, starchy pale grain base, relatively standard overall, but just kind of bolder and better than most and effectively avoiding green and harsh over hopped character. real pale, this is how i like these to look, truly east coast, soft yellow is all, not real heavy bodied either, tall white head over an inch high, puffy and lasting, uniformly hazy but not murky. the nose and flavor are the same, punchy citrus, could be citra, up front, with a sort of cryo level intensity, green grape and pear lushness and fruitiness together, kiwi and star fruit type fringe tropical vibes, with coconut and pineapple also peaking in, especially late. orange candy, taffy or something, oils and weedy dankness to this only in the middle, almost confectionary sweetness for only a flash too, and then more from the grain, pillowy feeling with some body, maybe unmalted wheat in play, oats, its long, juicy, and robust without being bitter, its creamy and slick at the same time, its well carbonated, and hops linger and slow fade, late notes of like watermelon and fruit punch, rather dynamic but also not radical to me, more unique for the intensity than anything else, but its also fairly easy drinking too. great hazy, i dig all the beers we had from these guys this time back east, they make a million beers but they pretty much all hit!

An excellent offering from OH that punches above it's 6.2% ABV in flavor. Peach, mango, grapefruit, lemon/lime, dank, light resin, dry and moderately bitter are all descriptors of this IPA. I can derive what every hop varietal is doing in this beer, a true delight. Cashmere is a sneaky hop that adds a drying quality, and here it does it's thing. This is a little gem of a sub 7% IPA.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange-yellow color with a big head of puffy white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading slowly and leaving a ton of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a a grapefruit hopped smell mixed with notes of tangerine and orange, as well as rind from oranges, grapefruits, and lemons. At the same time comes some other smells of tropical fruits with a bit of papaya and mango and a light level of biscuit and yeast.
Taste – The taste starts with a cracker and biscuit malt base paired with the grapefruit and the tangerine and orange that was in the nose. There is also some other hop flavors of a herbal and pine nature upfront, which while initially light, get stronger as the taste advances. At the same time, the orange amps up a bit, all while a touch o lemon joins in. toward the end, there is a note of pepper and a surge of raw hop, leaving one with a moderately crisp and nicely hopped but citrusy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is medium in thickness and creaminess with a moderate carbonation level, both of which make for a rather easy sipper.
Overall – A pretty nice NEIPA. Easy drinking with a nice balanced and fresh hopped flavor profile.

Poured into narrow imperial pint glass: color is hazy/opaque straw gold, head is off white with fine bubbles and presents one finger thick, head dissipates solid top, no real lacing.

Smell is light with pithy hops, notes of lemon, hints of oats and light malt; aroma is light.

Taste is more pithiness, with lemon and light white grapefruit, limited other fruit, maybe some herbal notes as it warms, grains are oats and light wheat.

Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.

Overall - aroma/flavor seem on the lighter side but taste is drinkable and nearly sessionable, but want more emphatic flavors at this style/strength; mouthfeel is light with a low lingering bitterness.
