This version of the notorious Special Combo #4 with our friends from The Veil is hopped so heavily it might be radioactive. We blasted this High Density Hop Charged Imperial IPA with Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, Citra Incognito, Citra Hyperboost, Citra Cryo and Mosaic Cryo

Good Imperial IPA in the New England style!!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured the standard NEIPA hazy straw yellow color and a medium sized foamy white head with better than average retention. Lots of patchy bands of lacing on the glass. Best part of this beer was the flavor, robust and fairly bitter for a NEIPA, #4 included lots of grapefruit and tropical fruit, and a floral aspect in both the nose and taste. The flavors were strong and very enjoyable, not quite a juice bomb or hop bomb, but plenty of both!!! Mouthfeel was crisp with decent bitterness but with a juicy smoothness as well. A very enjoyable brew!!!

Good DIPA, but expected more from a heavily hopped brew.

A bit of acid mixed with lots of malt to help offset the haze burn.grows on me because of malt in diff sips once used to it.On tap at Buffalo Taphouse.
