On draught at the Canton Lighthouse.
Pours like and looks like used 10w-40 motor oil, no head or lacing.
The flavor is high, syrupy and high viscosity mouthfeel. A thick, full bodied beer.
Black Forest chocolate cake batter, and dark coffee flavors dominate. Enjoyable barrel aged flavor and aroma.
The 12% ABV is well masked by the flavor overload. I’ve had beers less than 10% that tasted stronger than this.
A very rich, over-the-top Imperial Pastry Stout dessert beer. This syrup would be great poured over vanilla ice cream.
