16oz canned 11-19-25, opened 2-8-26.
3+ finger white head with fantastic retention. Orange-gold and fully opaque hazy pale ale. Early, thick and sticky lacing.
Bold and expressive nose of guava, passion fruit, oranges. Sweaty.
Zesty tropical flavors -- add pineapple to those flavors noted in aroma.
Chalky, almost "light/diet" taste mid-palate vs. the aroma but even at that still phenomenal flavor.
Full body, soft mouthfeel and low bitterness. Very flavorful (in a low abv package) and ultimately dry finish.
Heck of a 'session' brew.
Very Good to Outstanding.

Can Into Nonic Pint (Canned na)

Look: Hazy, orange-gold, pouring a frothy 1 finger head which slowly dissipated into a thin cap with great lacing
Smell: tropical fruits, touch of dank. Nice bready malt, with a touch of rye bread likeness. weak strength
Taste: Nice rye bread base, with a mellow tropical fruit hops. Light bitterness and a touch of dankness in there. Malt sweetens a touch and brings out a toasty note. Has a earthiness. Finish is quick, drawing down those tropical notes and malt. Nice lingering malt taste
Feel: Medium bodied, gentle carbonation, soft texture. Semi-dry finish overall
Overall: Harder beer for me to describe. Everything just muddles together but a few things poke out. Good beer overall, taste redeems it but the nose is a let down

Poured into a narrow imperial pint glass: color is straw gold, head is off white with fine frothy head that presents 3 fingers deep, lots of lacing.

Smell is mixed tropical then a little off but could be the rye component and malt notes.

Taste is more mixed tropical and malt notes, a bit muddled with notes of earthy rye and pineapple.

Mouthfeel is a little flat, moderate sweetness, low bitterness.

Overall probably past its prime but holds some of the base notes that define it - mixed tropical notes with rye earthiness.

16oz can muled back from Florida; pours with full-on haze, golden body, high off-white cap of foam. Start to finish, not buying this as a 'Pale Ale', this is fully a New England IPA, but still super enjoyable when recognized that way. Full-on Mosaic bomb, smooth and tropical, grapefruit, minor notes of spices, hoppy, fairly light-bodied even with the dry hopping. Really good stuff.

Hazy, orange color. Medium-sized, white head. Tropical fruits, pine, and rye malt spiciness in the aroma. Moderate, hoppy bitterness in taste. A good hazy pale ale.

Nice blend of sweetness and sour. Has a really nice aroma and leans towards a grapefruit taste. Nothing really special but a solid IPA although I question the 93 score which seems a little high.

Smells like grapefruit, plum and fancy perfume. Taste: dry raspberry-like tartness. The raspberry eventually fades and the dryness turns into a biscuity lager-like finish, even a little "woody." Not too sweet/fruity, not too bitter. Complex flavor, probably thanks to the rye, but mild-mannered.

Thanks to zeile33 for this one.
Apricot juice in hue. White fluffy head jumps 3 inches slowing my pour. Solid retention with clumpy, clingy lacing.
Nose pumps Mosaic. Tangerine, green green grass, blueberry, and floral mango.
Flavor begins with a spicy, floral delivery of guava, tangerine rind, wet grass followed by a hint of pine. There is a grain note that is hard to nail down. Biscuity meets a slightly peppery rye.
Mouthfeel is on the fuller side for style, good carbonation, and finishes a tad dry.

16oz can. Bottom date stamp is off center and cannot be read but looks to be a date from 2023.
Cloudy, deep gold colored body. Three fingers of off white head slowly settles into a fluffy cap, with left behind lacing webs.
Aroma wafts from the glass. Smells of orange and tangerine concentrate, a little green apple, and pine.
Taste is initially citrus - orange and grapefruit, and then gets more earthy with a heavy pine presence. Other minor fruit flavors of apple and berry. Somewhat sweet from the fruits but also has rye spice and woody/resin flavors. Aftertaste is more of the rye and pine.
Medium mouth feel. Earthy but minimal bitterness. Excellent carbonation.
Expressive nose and flavors, but stays away from fruit bomb sweetness. Rye and caramel malts keep the brew grounded.

Golden color with a 4F head in a stone imperial pint glass.

Light aroma of fruit.

Very hoppy with a spicy finish which overshadows the fruit taste.

I’m generally not a big fan of pale ales. Good beer but not memorable.

Hazy pour with deep color--almost orange. Pop the top and stand back--Lux has a heady nose rich with citrus. The flavor profile leans toward sweet, noticing tropical fruits, apple and pine to beautifully balance the ale. Tasty as hell, and at 5.1%, eminently sessionable.
