Pours a hazy, completely opaque, matte, drab orange color. Two to three finger head forms on the beer, dissipates and then settles in with just a thin layer of foam on top of the beer. Aroma has notes of mango, papaya, orange, with a strong, overly ripe character. There is a bit of a certain dankness to the beer with grassy, weedy, vegetal notes coming through.
Taste follows the nose with notes of overly ripe fruits - mango, papaya, peach, orange - before giving way to a strong vegetal, weedy hop finish. The vegetal character is not very enjoyable for me and takes away from everything else which is otherwise nice. Feel is medium bodied, fuller, and a bit heavier. Lighter carbonation but with a prickly feel to it.
Overall this is decent - the strong vegetal notes I was getting from this were just not what I want from my beer.

Poured from the can into a tulip glass.
Beaming bright golden yellow, with an opaque solid appearance and huge glow that hits like a big orb. Creamy topped bright white head of three fingers with great retention and staying power. Classic good looker neipa.
Light earthy tones on the aroma with contrasting juiced pineapple and some tropical hits of fruit. Slight hinting vanilla cream as well which is nice too.
Palate hits similar with good anticipation. Surprisingly light bodied for an imperial leaving to a simpler mouthfeel that could flirt with wetness. Still a mid palate hits with very juiced pineapple, light orange pulp and creamy touches of vanilla with a finish that provides just the right amount of herbal bitterness.
Very nice NEIPA was expecting a bigger presence due to dipa like realm, but still makes for a great experience.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow/orange pour, persistent one finger foamy white head leaves spots of lacing. Aroma is citrusy, orange peel. Taste deviates a little, bringing in tropical notes and a fair amount of bitterness. Creamy feel, dry finish

Poured into a Bissell Brothers three rivers pint glass
*originally had this on tap at the source in Portland, ME on 08.09.18 - was outstanding then!
P opaque deep-ish orange w/ a 1-2f frothy white head; looks good
N med-bold nose of sweet juicy citrus, tropical notes, and biscuity malt
T follows nose w/ a blend of citrus, melon, tropical character, and stone fruit, all over a hearty biscuity malt backbone; finishes a bit dry; balanced sweetness throughout
Mf full-bodied w/ med-high carb
O marginally different from when I had it on tap before (was just a touch sweeter and juicier at that time), but still an excellent offering and was happy to revisit; thanks again for the opportunity, J!

(16 oz can, PKGD 10/15/24; purchased cold single at Pinocchio's last night... poured into a Sam Smith's pint)
L: moderately-hazy pale amber liquid; rocky but smooth foam... actual hop matter plopped out in its final dregs, which I cut off once I noticed that, so ~1 oz left in can... it actually looks like both hop and malt crush particles, hmm... head/cap is mad persistent and it laces thick
S: peach-ed oatmeal, mashed oranges... powdered carpet cleaner... potpourri-scented moonshine... it certainly rouses the sinus network
T: wow! a bit over the top in its bitter, barmy, and farmy green grassy bite... aftertaste almost floury, with a persistent pungent ping from the hop tannins, yeasty puke, and Screwdriver-esque boozy orange juiciness... rather dry? only getting grain dust and pithy bitterness lingering... mango puree and bell pepper?!?
F: lifting litheness... booze attenuates and airs out the finish, which is then sanded clean from the hop bittering... it drinks like a boldly-bitter, resin-tainted weizenbock; no complaints
O: not my cup of juice tea, but quite quintessentially an characterfully raunchy Bissell brew... if you enjoy the NEIPA, this is an intense entry into the category (2406)

Excellent. Silky mouthfeel. Very balanced for a DIPA not too boozy. All the tast points are just right, not too bitter, not too sweet, not too fruity. Leans a little dank, which is good and wish it moreso.

Well-balanced, hazy DIPA. Cloudy with golden color. Medium-sized, white head. Tropical fruits and resin in aroma . Moderate but distinctive bitterness.
