Fire Road is a saison straight from Bissell Brothers Brewing Three Rivers featuring 100% Maine-grown grains, aged in an oak foeder for four months, dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic, then aged in bottles for three more months. A true quencher with notes of Orangina, overripe mango, and apricot preserves.

750 ml bottle.
Pours a clear golden straw color with a 2 finger soapy white head. Excellent head retention, reinforced by the bubbles of Eternia. Leaves a crown of lacing around the glass.
Aromas of fresh orange and grapefruit with a dash of lime zest, followed by some stone fruit, overripe mango, pear, and damp grass. A bit of hay, dry leaves, oak and funk with some light peppercorn spice.
The flavor brings lots of mango and melon, followed by a wave of tart peach, apricot, pear and lime. There's also a ton of grapefruit and orange with some lemon zest and tangerines. Lots of grainy malts, with a bit of hay, grass, oak chips and funk. Finishes with some cracked peppercorn spice.
The feel is light bodied with lively carbonation. Exceptionally crisp and drinkable with a dry finish.
Overall, this is a fantastic farmhouse ale. It's tropical, citrusy, tart and funky with plenty of earthy oak flavors throughout. Bissell entering the saison game like "What's up?".
