Draft at the source. Radiant orange body with a thin white ring atop. Honey with brown bread and a hint of brown sugar. Almost a sweet potato / yam character in the nose. Sweet honey and caramel tempered by a subtle blend of earthy spice and mild bitterness. Unique and tasty.

Poured on tap into a stemmed wine glass at the brewpub.

A creamy bleach white, one fingered tall head presented, with thin bubbles in its presence. Real interesting body color, it almost has a ruby edged glow to it. Deep bronze red and orange color, with some lemon yellow hues, faint carbonation to go with it. Pretty neat looking.

Nose is a bit subtle. Slightly floral and grassy, with faint soft honey. Hints of thick pollen a bit, but still quite tiny.

Palate brings hints on the nose, but not much flavor and some distracting body feel. Faint toasty aromas on the finish, and some thin wine like dryness. Fleeting pepper, and very large distracting carbonation a bit on the mouthfeel. Minimal honey sweetness rounds out after some time.

Overall it's not bad but it comes off as a little bit average for a saison.
