12 oz. pour at the brewery into their characteristic wine glasses, unknown brewing/kegging date, drank over 30 minutes
A: 2/3 - golden-orange coloration, high clarity for style (dark in the pub but light definitely passes), two fingered khaki head with high retention, tight white bubbles for carbonation, moderate alcohol legs
S: 9/12 - lots of classic saison-ish aroma going on here - lemon, pepper, corainder, lime; little-to-no hop presence; some alcohols; no flaws
T: 15/20 - on first detection, there is a slight fruity and spicy presence that evolves into a more complex saison profile that matches the aroma - lemon, orange, pepper and classic spices; finishes overall dry and inviting with little-to-no aftetaste
M: 4/5 - light-to-moderate bodied, slight spice and alcohol fullness, no alcohol, moderate-to-high carbonation (wish that it was a little bit more effervescent to pop the flavor profile)
O: 7/10 - solid but not overly impressive saison; for better or worse, I think that I drink too many hoppy saisons now that I'm underwhelmed by more classic examples; $5/pour is a nice price for this beer, which is also available for growler fills
TOTAL - 37/50
