Appearance: Arrives a tawny reddish color with a very modest head that fades quickly; not much lacing action
Smell: Floral and fruity lactic aromatics with elderberry, hibiscus and rose hip tones; a hint of barnyard horse blanket
Taste: Lactic elderberry forward with the rose hip and hibiscus flavors emerging; a touch of heat from the pink peppercorn as well as a bit of funk, in the middle, but the finish is fruity and floral
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: A creative mixture of fruit and flower as well as the yeast make this one quite distinct and enjoyable

12 oz. Poured on tap at Right Proper into stemware.
Peach and red grapefruit colored body, with a presented small white puck and collar. Some good staying power, minimal carbonation, but a real nice color.
Aroma is quite fascinating. A mixture of grapefruit, blueberry, and large amounts of berries. Thick nose and a new almost sticky sweet floral quality. Very impressive.
Quenching palate giving lots of orange and citrus flavors. Mid palate has some nice herbs slightly green thyme and sage with a hint of a wet slight palate feel. Clean nearly crisp but also slightly wet.
A neat smelling Berliner, but leaves a bit of malt flavor and depth behind. Decent.

Draft over lunch last month on a visit to DC. Didn't like the poor service at this place but the beers were great, and this was my favorite. Assertively sour with tons of complexity. Wish I had brought a growler.

Draft at the source. Pinkish orange body, moderate haze, thin white apex. Tropical fruits abound. Guava, peach, nectarine, pineapple. Piquant and bold. Funky throughout with a gentle acetic finish. Puckering and palate coating. A lot of body for a <4% abv beer. Complex and assertive. Well done.
