Poured on tap at the Shaw brew pub into a ballon tulip glass.
Thick creamy bright white top with a one finger height, and with a whipped up appearance. Glowing fourteen carat gold body, with some interesting leggy lacing. Like a big lemon glowing orb sitting in front of you.
Aroma has real nice spiced herbs and grassy balanced hop angle. There's a perfumed like nose on this that is borderline soapy quality with some matching moderate funk notes. The perfume estery quality on this is very large.
Palate comes with quite a bit of crispness to it. Crackling malt body with a small honey tinge in the mid palate. Low bitterness on the finish but with a very noticeable hop accent for a saison. More classic grassy herbs that linger, hearly mouthwashing, but also lots of perfume like aftertastes as well. Mouthfeel borders a hint of wet but has a nice mineral lightness to it.
A little more depth and this would be even better, however, much of the farmhouse character is a bit overshadowed, and there's a perfume quality just aching to go into detergent level here.

Had a growler filled with this at the brewery. Pours a yellow hazy body with a white head that doesn't linger for too long. Crisp and refreshing, very drinkable. The hops are clean and there's some spice in there as well. Smooth carbonation.

On tap at Right Proper Brewing Company in Washington, DC.
Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, wheat, citrus fruit, citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, wheat, oat, citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a nice mix of grains along with the citrus forward hop aspects.
Serving type: on tap.

On draft at the source.
Slightly hazy straw yellow body with a half inch of soapy white head. Aromas of yeast, lemon, floral hop, funk. Mineral and earth funk. Some grain notes in the finish. Light in body. Super smooth with soft carbonation. Another tasty saison from Right Proper.
