I usually run and hide from lactobacillus. The sour beer fad is completely lost on me. I'm happy to have a nice funky saison every now and then, but sour just doesn't work for me.
Another reviewer mentioned that this beer is a little weak on lacto. I suppose that's why I think it's so great. This beer just rocketed up the charts to top 3 in DC for me. The citra hops give this beer a beautiful, hoppy aroma that's typically not present in saisons and that pushes it over the top for me. The mild, tropical sweetness at the finish is wonderful as well.
Amazing beer.

Every beer I had at Right Proper looked amazing (most are served in large wine glasses) and this was no exception. The flavor was complex but not as sour as it could have been - a little weak on the lacto in my opinion.

This beer is out of this world flavorful. Pine, fruit, resin and dank all make appearances.

On draft at the source.
Straw yellow body. Hazy with a white head. Straw, grass, floral hops, light funk. Lovely. Beautiful floral notes with mineral funk, tart citrus and a touch of earth. Outstanding.
