Rich amber body that's still a little bit murky in appearance. Nice finger and a half or so of wet head that settles down to a patchy beard over the face of the glass as it were. Decent lacing.
Nose is sweet grains up front. Rich in honey and bread and a bit of lightly spicy noble-type hops.
Flavour does not stray from this theme by much. Malty leads that aren't quite as rich and robust as the aroma would suggest. A bit of sweetness to balance the hops which are a little floral, a little oily, a bit of lime, still a touch of spice...
It's somehow a little bit cloying and also a little... not thin watery, but like there's a watery section through the middle.
Finish is sweet grains and sharply oily bitter hops.
I think Stoup is underrated in general, but this one just doesn't quite land for me.

Creamy, off-white head. Clear and bright, medium gold appearance. Bready, medium light toasted malt and floral aroma. Spiced, floral hop and a lot of yeasty malt flavors, with a firm edge to it.

16oz can (dated 12/17/20) poured into 14oz teku. Listed as a "Winter Lager" , but unable to find any further info on their website to to the confusing layout. Poured a clean, clear bright copper color with 3/4 inch of white head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing.
Light caramel grains and floral hops in the nose.
Same on the tongue, with the malts lingering, and just a touch of bitterness on the finish.
The body was a bit on the full side of medium, smooth, and had a medium-sweet finish.
Drinkability was OK, but I wasn't left craving another.
Overall, a solid brew, probably worth a shot if you see it.
