16oz can served in a large pilsner glass. Dated 10/05/23. Label is the same as several other versions; distinguished by the hop variety included in the date stamp.
Pours clear brassy amber with a medium sized head and a fair amount of fine carbonation. Smell is dank. Bitter melon.
Taste is more in the bitter melon direction, lots of rind-y bitterness, very light fruity sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied to light, pretty clean. Overall, really nice WC IPA and pretty good fresh hop.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale and lightly caramel malt, citrus and fruit hops, lemon, mixed tropical and stone fruit. Flavor is lightly caramel malt, citrus, dank and fruit hops, grapefruit, mixed tropical fruit with some clear mango notes and a some dankness in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Just got two new Stoup fresh hops, with HBC 586 following up on my first taste of this hop in a Machine House pale ale. This IPA version does has only faint hint of floral notes in the aroma and none in the flavor, which is interesting as the pale ale was very floral. This makes up for it in a more subtle tropical fruit flavors, but nice fruit esters showing up in the finish. Find bitterness in the finish, which has been one of the great features of Stoup's fresh hops. Once again, this is now my favorite fresh hop of the year (until the next one). A fine fresh hop.
