Had on Cask at the brewery.
On arrival a frothy off white nearly 2 finger head with the cascade finishing right before it hit the table. Body is a clear amber that catches the light very nicely. Beautiful lacing on the glass.
Aroma is malty amd grassy but I'm picking up a nice background of fruity but subdued American hops. Sweet caramel malts are present but not overwhelming. Very balanced.balanced.
The taste is closer to style than the aroma suggests. Sweet nutty malts with some esters bringing extra character making it nice and bready. There is a bitterness but the fruit of the hops disappears in the esters. Very balanced.
Feel is full bodied and satisfying without being boozy or too heavy. Drinkable amd relaxing at the same time? Almost feels like nitro, maybe could use a bit more sugar in the Cask?
Overall I'm impressed. This is the 3rd brewery I've had Cask beers from and obviously hogshead is the champ here in Colorado but this beats pints pub!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
