Beer pours a dark dark brown color with a tan head. The head has no retention and falls back into the glass in a matter of moments.
Aroma is full of roast, burnt sugar, and malt. I can detect no hop aroma.
Taste is sweet, but not overly sweet. There is a lot of roast and burnt sugar again. Not really flavors that I enjoy. Finish is a little bitter and lingers, but a coffee bitter and not from hops.
Medium body and carbonation that is a little too low.
Overall just an okay beer. It is too sweet and not very well balanced. The large amount of burnt sugar taste is also out of place.
