Dark copper hued body; thin yet lasting white head. Heavy caramel malt smell; nutty. Rich amber and caramel tones; well-balanced alcohol presence; some hop bitterness; maple. Heavy body yet somehow light and feathery in many ways; warm.
This could have been an alcohol overkill kind of beer yet is surprisingly well crafted and balanced between malt character and alcohol presence.
