Poured in to a tulip with a crystal clear, straw colored body. 1/2 finger, white head.
Smell was fantastic. Green apple, lemony with a subtle grainy maltiness. Some slight vingar/acidic aroma.
Taste was nearly the tart, acidic flavor I was hoping for from the aroma. Some light tartness, very light. Green apples, slight lemon a grainy malt flavor.
Mouthfeel was nice with a light body and high carbonation. Coulda been a little more dry, but still decent.
Overall a decent berliner. Aroma had my hopes high, but the body, taste and finish left me wanting a bit more.

I randomly came across this bottle at a small liquor store in Old Colorado City.
Pours an extremely light yellow, possibly the lightest beer I have ever seen. A small white head fizzed for a bit and fell to nothing.
Smells a bit of alcohol and warm grains, maybe a touch a noble hops. Very light aroma.
The flavor is also astonishingly light. Slight notes of green apple and just a hint of grain and no flavor of hops. How strange, this has just slightly more overall flavor than Bud Light (but the flavors themselves are much nicer).
The mouthfeel is highly carbonated (with large fast bubbles like soda) and very light.
Conclusion: This is an interesting beer. It is the lightest craft beer i have ever tasted or seen. If someone handed me a glass I would have thought by looking at it that it was a ultra low calorie beer. This is a nice beer though, and after about half the glass my palate woke up a bit and I tasted a bit more depth of flavor. Maybe it warmed as well, even though I warmed it up substantially from the fridge before I first tasted it.

Picked up a bottle on a whim for $4.99. Hazy but bright yellow color, scant head. Smells like wheat with a hint of lemons. Flavor closely follows the aroma and has a bit of tartness to it while still being very smooth and easy to drink. I liked the crabtree Berliner a little better but it was also more expensive.
