June '17 draft...pours clear, bright, gold. Rings the foam. Light malt nose, dray hopped. Bitter rides the wave the the finish. Balanced, but certainly nicely bittered.

Crystal-clear, golden body; thick, chunky, white head; clumps of sticky foam splotched on the glass. Very faint aroma, mostly of grass with a touch of malt grain; twinge of lemon. Very bitter flavor with an odd tart edge; bland cereal taste. Medium body; very dry finish.

It appears the brewer's intent is a big, hop bitterness in the beer, and in that sense, they got it. But the beer lacks balance and depth. The aroma is very weak for so much hop usage and the the malt grains don't really complement the high-end bitterness. The beer comes across as one-dimensional overall. If you're looking for an in-your-face IBU offering, this is worth a shot.

Light yellow orange, decent head. Aroma was odd, malts. Flavor was weird and I swear the label said it had German hops. Very strange and not my cup of tea.

12oz into a pint

A - Pours a light golden color. Very clear and filtered looking. Light off white head formation, breaks down to a film quickly.

S - Light citrus hop aroma, just a bit of sweetness in the background.

T - Starts off smooth and sweet, lightly malty, a hint of some graininess. Turns balanced with some hopping coming in, more resinous and dark vs. fruity and citrus. Finishes clean and smooth.

M - Moderate to thin body, a little behind the matching carbonation. No alcohol warmth detected. No oily hop texture in the finish.

O./D - A decent but not really all that exciting IPA. Almost a sessionable version of the style which doesn't seem to be around that much lately. Not overly filling.

kind of a strange ipa. pours hazy and bright ragweed color, with a frothy white head of about an inch. the nose is real yeast, tart and a little lemony, but overtaken by really bitter hops and ulra light malt, possibly some wheat in here. flavor starts bitter and it doesnt relent. a little viniferous at times, acidic somehow, tart from the yeast. whatever the yeast is, its uncommon in an ipa. i dont dislike it, but this one is in need of some refining. it seems to come together a little sloppy, but i love the pungent bitterness of the hops. long lasting finish, piney and lemony both, and dry too. good carbonation, less than medium body, drinkable enough, overall maybe somewhere near a B-, but there is more potential than that here. under 9 bucks a 6pack, no regrets there.
