Robust taste at first followed by a pungent musty ending, Almost like putting a 9 volt battery on the taste buds. I wonder if the brewer filtered this beer with dirty wool sock.

this is better than it gets credit for being, and is honestly a very good example of the style and one of the better more drinkable beers i have had from rockyard to this point. its real pale and clear in the glass, and after just a few seconds, it has no head at all. it looks and smells like a coors light, some corn or other sweet adjunct happening, and a thin but familiar lager yeast. i like the taste, it has a nice sweetness that i think belongs in a thinner beer like this, gives it legs a little bit. no hops hardly at all, but i dont miss them in this style. its refreshing for not being super carbonated, and there is a light honey flavor or something i like a lot. very satisfying for a beer this simple and clean, and sometimes on a monday, thats not a bad afternoon beer concept. i could have put a fair few of these back, and reckon its one of the beers they make the best. i can taste the yeast which i like too. overall not a particularly compelling style, but its a nice craftier example of it. worth trying if these are your thing.

This is a Bud Light. Looks, smells like one.
Pours a straw, pale color with small head, lousy lace.
Smells like grain, corn.
tastes like grain, corn.
Dry, crisp, easy to drink, sessionable. It's local and so I would drink it rather than the macro but it's a good replica of a macro light lager. Good job of replica but I wouldn't order this with the others options at this place. Much better options and more flavorful ones than this.

These labels have to be one of the cheesiest I have ever seen. Tried a sampler of the light lager and for style was pretty impressed. A very light semi-yellow, semi-water color. Great clarity and soft white foamy heat that died very quickly and no lacing to speak of.
The nose was distinct with a light corn and limited rice aroma. Some lighter grainy notes but very, very clean. Some lighter hop notes, my guess was saaz. Not much going on here but good for style.
The taste is very clean as well. The graininess comes out a bit more but more of a corn taste is detectable in the finish. The corn is very light but does come out as it warms. Some bitterness that might be a bit much for style. Very clean yeast which is perfect.
The body is light and a bit wispy even for style. Carbonation was low but had some bite from the hops. Overall not bad for a light lager. Impressively clean. Would like a bit more body and balance in the hops and you are good.

Enjoyed as part of a sampler. Pours out to a very clear pale straw golden, forming a decent white head with good retention and average lacing. Smells like bud without adjunct...cleanly fermented, not much of a nose. Mouthfeel is spritzy and cold with a very light body, clean and crisp finish, and brisk carbonation. There is a slight adjuncty, corn-like taste, but it's slight. Mild to absent bitterness. Again, very clean and crisp with a slightly mineralized finish make this very easy to drink and at 4.1% ABV can be enjoyed all night. For the style, this one hits the mark and although it's simple, it takes some skill to brew a beer this light without any off-flavors. I enjoyed it and would drink it again.

In all fairness, if one is reviewing a light beer, it cannot be expected to compete with a full-bore beer. I found it to be a good refreshing light. Pale golden color - even some lacing was present; a delicate aroma, soft initial taste, good carbonation, tasty hops and malt were present, and a crisp finish. MUCH better than most light beers - forget Miller or Coors if this is available.
