Appearance: Dark brown with a reddish hue. Light tan head. Lacing sticks to the glass all the way down.
Aroma: Roasty malt; smells like Killian's or Amber Bock of yore.
Taste: Sweet, roasty arrival. Sweet, apple/tart across mid-palate. Lingering sweet finish.A little rye "dankness," but tastes like a red ale overall.
Mouthfeel: Mid to heavy.
Overall: Very red ale-like. Roasty and sweet. Better for a fall day than a June evening.
