22 ounce bottle, packaged on JUN 20 (or 28, hard to read the stamp) 2017. Served in a Spiegelau stout glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with a couple inch tan head that stayed around for a long time. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma a lot, the brew smells like coffee/espresso, roasted malt, milk and bittersweet chocolate, and some nuttiness. Taste is similar to the aroma, with coffee/espresso, roasted/charred malt, cream, milk and bittersweet chocolate, and a bit of nuts noticeable. Nice balance between the sweet and bitter flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I really liked this stout, it's a must for stout and/or coffee lovers, definitely recommend this one! $4.99 a bomber.

From the 22 oz bomber via Savor growl in a snifter. This astounding stout
pours a rich obsidian with a fantastic head of light brown foam that subsides to
a thick layer and ring with exceptional lacing. Nose of heavy espresso, rich cream,
char and campfire, and dark rich bakers chocolate. Flavors exceed the nose by presentation
with waves of rich espresso awash in char cream with a touch of burnt marshmallow and
wafting vanilla dashed upon the rocks of bakers chocolate. Exceptional mouth fee; medium
full body, coating, rich, moderately sweet on the finish and heavy laden with char with medium
low carbonation that is lively enough to lift this heavy flavored beast.

Overall......I think I am in love.....a rich malt and char heavy stout lovers dream come true.

Had at the brewery but had already bought two bottles of it.

A 5oz sample pour in the taproom

Dark black with a big foamy head. Especially considering the glass size.

It smells very strongly of roasted coffee and charred malts. A little bit of sweetness, but not real noticeable.

The milk stout character comes through more in the flavor with a little bit of condensed/evaporated milk and sugar, but it is predominantly expresso flavored. A nice smooth finish despite the fairly aggressive bitterness and char/ash. The body could be a little creamier, but I would drink this one again.
