Hazy orange with a thin, fuzzy blanket that dies to a faint film, I get a real lactic Brie cheese funk off the nose right off the bat. However, this also has a tart funk that includes lemon, grapefruit and other citrus notes, with a brightening, not heavy oak presence. Very drinkable and well made.

22 ounce bottle, label says packaged on MAY/17/2017. Served in a Wolf's Ridge Terre du Sauvage chalice, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about an inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like wheat/grainy malt, coriander, funk, oak, citrus peel and a bit of floralness. It's a good tart brew with citrus, wheat/grainy malt, funk, oak, coriander, earthiness and some red berry flavors. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's refreshing and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, I recommend this one if you like saisons and/or tart ales! $12.99 a bomber.

22 oz bottle poured into pint glass
A: Hazy burnished gold body with little to no head present just a slight white film.
S: light lemon, oak, coriander, slight hay smell.
T: very tart lots of lemon, light vinegar, oak fairly dry.
M: dry carbonation was light.
O: This really isn't my thing it's sour an oak aren't bad but otherwise it just tastes like lemon and vinegar. I wouldn't grab this again. Has a pretty pleasant aftertaste though.

From a 22oz bottle stamped May 17
It is a cloudy dark straw yellow to light gold. A minimal, slightly fizzy white head disappeared pretty quickly.
It smells excellent. A little bit of a rose/blush to red wine with soft berries and floral notes and some wood. A lot of straw like grain. Wheat and some rye along with a corriander that you would get from a Gose.
The flavor is even better. It's slightly tart, with a slightly prickly rye and hibiscus like floral taste up front followed by some darker berry flavor, a lot of wheat, oak, and corriander to finish. Lingering earthy grains and straw.
The body is medium and the carbonation is on the lighter side. An initial crispness, then smooth with a very clean finish.
This is an extremely well rounded and balanced saison. I love it! Seek it out.
