I’m seeing a golden color with light hazing in my glass. Nice clean white foamy head that lingers. Mixture of malt and citrus smell, just right Very solid IPA. I look for it on trips to Iowa.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy amber color verging on golden; the two finger head sticks nicely and leaves clumps of lacing
Smell: Pithy and piney with a touch of peach
Taste: Bready up front, with a touch of peachy sweetness that underpins; through the middle, the grapefruit pith and pine emerge and dominate the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with crisp carbonation
Overall: The flavor could be bolder but this is still an enjoyable, if old school, IPA
Thanks, Chilmer, for the opportunity

Almost boring to write a review - this is just a very nice IPA.

Can’t believe it took me this long to have the flagship. Massive head, murky, aromatic. Orange flavor. West/east mix.

12oz can. Poured out a slightly hazy, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of pineapple, orange and toasted caramel. Sweet caramel taste with tropical fruits and pine.

Sweet and bitter with the taste of grapefruit. Balanced finish. No part of this beer approaches harshness, and it ends up being a very solid, flavorful IPA with no upsetting or overbearing notes.

Poured from a can. Beer was hazy and light gold yellow - like a glass of grapefruit juice. Some lacing that lingered. Aroma is really nice, with ripe stone fruit and slight dank pine. Taste is a nice hop-forward combination of ripe tropical fruit and edgy citrus bite. Body seems a little weak. This beer has a watery and light affect about it. I think it could use more malt background to support it, so for me the balance is really the most average element. This overall is a good IPA, with a lot of potential, but not the complete package.
