Golden in color and pleasantly sweet. Our German-inspired celebratory lager features distinct notes of honey, alongside subtle hints of floral and spice. So good, you might need one in each hand, which means someone will have to………….wait for it………..hold your pretzel.

Tap pour at the Cedar Falls taproom. Served chilled.
Clear, deep gold colored body.brief lasting white head. Leaves behind broken horizontal lacing bands.
Aroma of toasted bread malts with a bit of spice.
Taste is honey sweet, with a toasted bread malt base. Spicy hops. The malts linger in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Coats the mouth. Good carbonation.
Just the right level of malty sweetness for session work.

On tap at The Brass Tap, Cedar Falls, IA; served in a snifter. Light copper/golden color, with a creamy white head that left minimal lacing. Mouthfeel is on the watery side. The brewer states "...distinct notes of honey, alongside subtle hints of floral and spice." Very strong floral and perfume-y, almost soapy, aromas and flavors that overpowered everything else. I thought it might be a problem with the tap line, but the bartender checked it out and said it was fine. I'll reserve final judgment for now.
