Sampled on tap at SingleSpeed, Waterloo, IA; served in a snifter. Hazy pale yellow, with a white head. Good retention and lacing. This is hop forward, just the way I like it. Bitter, with notes of pine, citrus, and tropical fruit and a light malt backbone that doesn't get in the way. Finishes dry, with a ton of bitterness lingering on the palate. Excellent beer from the Cedar Valley's premier brewer.

Aroma is a mix of floral/citrus/slightly funky/piney hops. The flavor is fruit, a vegetal hint, malts and a complex tropical/slightly funky/piney hop finish.
