S: It has a grainy, fresh white bread smell with mild hops, spice and a trace of citrus.

L: brilliant gold producing a stout white foam cap with moderate retention. Streams of rapidly rising bubbles support the cap.

T: grainy, lightly sweet with a slightly drying finish. The malt is medium and in balance with the hops. The hop flavors are primarily citrus with traces of herbal spice. The hop bitterness is medium to medium high and lingers pleasantly. The bitterness is bright and not harsh.

F: creamy smooth with a medium light to medium body and medium high carbonation that produces a light tickle on the tongue.

O: full flavored beer packed with grainy, citrus flavors that achieves a good malt-hop balance.

Clear light yellow colour. Little to no aroma, a little earthy hops. Clean light flavors, heavier earthy hops on the finish. Crisp.

there are a ton of really good craft pils types in the market in minnesota right now, and to compete i would imagine a new beer in this category would have to be really impressive. this isnt bad, but its not that great either, i dont think it stands out from the crowd at all. one of the least inventive and least delicious of the several tin whiskers beers i had on my trip. i think its got a little corn or something in it, there is a sweetness that carries on until the end, and so it loses a little of its refreshment value for that reason. lighter in body still, and very well carbonated, so its not like its ruined on those grounds. the lager yeast flavor in this is very mild, more grain than yeast taste, a little out of the conventional balance, but i dont see that a s a flaw either, i like the lighter yeast aspect this go round. i guess whats lacking for me is the defining element, all the rest of their beers seemed to have something that sets them apart, and if its intended to be the corny malt base of this, i dont think its a great idea. better than average, but not my favorite local pilsener up there.
