super interesting beer, they call it showerbier, a style that id love to see emerge and i know my boy claystation would too, nothing like a cold one in the shower, and this seems like a cool thing to try to make stick. its brewed with real tasty cold brewed coffee and oat milk of all things, and it comes together real well. i love the low alcohol on this thing, an any time of day beer for sure. murky and not real heady on the pour, an odd shade and a curious opacity, but not unappealing. the coffee has hints of dry baking cocoa and hazelnut, real nutty and earthy, kind of rich, and it stands out way in front of such a light base lager, just a little of the yeast coming through. the body is awesome from the oat milk, a neat addition, probably after fermentation with the coffee, it beefs this up a bit, seems compatible with the light barley malt in here, and marries in with the lager yeast nicely too, and as much as i love the coffee here, i am curious about an oat milk lager without it, just to see. hints of raisin, dark chocolate, and even cherry to me in here, and while it could use a little more carbonation to really make it sing, i love pretty much everything about it. the body is soft and round and creamy, the coffee is fresh and strong and contributes a caffeine hit to my buzz, and this is something quite original with the oat milk. my first beer from lowercase, but they are on my radar now for sure. lets make showerbier a thing!
