A pale gold beer with a clean eggshell head. Strong retention and sheet-like, slippery lace. Aroma treads between wit and saison territory; there's a hint of pepper, lemon, coriander, white grape. Like a very young brett beer. Despite the name this isn't a particularly hoppy beer; there's very low bitterness and not much in the way of fresh hop resinousness one might expect from a fresh hop brew. The flavor is gentle and pleasing, with the faintest hit of honey sweetness, again some lemony citrus is there, white pepper, mild tartness and spice.

This is light bodied and crisp and exceedingly easy drinking. As this was my only bottle and "fresh hops" were mentioned right on the label I figured I'd drink it immediately, but I suspect this beer will become markedly more interesting as the wild yeasts get a chance to do their thing and get funky.
